*MOU & Inauguration of Job Center at SCC&I. KISOK Machine Inaugrated by Mr. Sajid Hussain Tarar President along with Khawaja Mohsin Mehdi Chairman Standing Committee on I.T.*
The Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony (MOU) between Chamber of Commerce Sargodha (SCCI) and Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) was held on November 22, 2022 at Chamber of Commerce Sargodha. The unitedly agreed efforts are spearheaded towards accomplishing highly ambitious and mutually beneficial envisioned achievements of both renowned institutions.
Establishment of Job Center in SCC&I is a scheme sponsored by Labor & Human Resource Department (L&HRD), Government of Punjab and executed by Punjab Information & Technology Board (PITB) & Director General Labor Welfare (DGLW), L&HRD throughout Punjab at divisional & district level.
Punjab job center will create a bridge between potential employers, promoters, employment exchange agencies and worker’s, job seekers and citizen. The online job portal offers a comprehensive database of working human capital; skilled, semi-skilled, unskilled, including both job seekers and employers from public and private sectors.
The collaboration between SCCI and PITB through this IT initiative will assist the local industries/employer with their human resources need. At the same time, it will help to lower the unemployment and increase economic activities. Moreover, through this IT initiative, the latest training will be provided to unskilled labour, which will ultimately enhance the productivity and profitability of the respective industry.
