A pivotal meeting was held between the Sargodha Chamber of Commerce and the Customs Department, led by Mr. Dr. Rizwan Basharat, Collector of Customs, Appraisement, Faisalabad. The discourse focused on strategic initiatives to operationalize a Dry Port in the Sargodha region. The collaborative session culminated in a mutual agreement to formulate a comprehensive proposal for the Government of Pakistan, highlighting the port's role in boosting exports of local specialties such as oranges, handicrafts, and pink salt, and facilitating the efficient import of essential goods.
