A productive awareness session regarding the role and responsibilities of the Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) was held at the Sargodha Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCC&I), chaired by President Khawaja Yasir Qayyum. In his welcome address, the President emphasized the FTO's pivotal role in ensuring transparency and providing timely redressal for the business community's grievances.

Mr. Shaukat Mehmood, Advisor FTO Sargodha, conducted a detailed session highlighting the institutional facilities available to taxpayers.  Ch. Shoaib Ahmad Basra, former President of SCC&I and representative of the Kinnow Association, highlighted the critical challenges faced by stakeholders, particularly the persistent issues surrounding tax refunds. The session saw active participation from the members of the Executive Committee and the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Peace, Travel and Tour, FIA ,  Hajj and Umrah ,fostering a robust dialogue on improving the local business climate through streamlined tax processes.
