Exploring Sargodha's Export Potential with the United Kingdom!

The Sargodha Chamber of Commerce and Industry had the honor of hosting the Deputy Mayor of London, Mr.Asim Naveed Ranjha. Office bearers President Khawaja Yasir Qayyum, SVP Mian Muhammad Imran, Acting VP Mr. Ashar Ehsan Cheema alongwith Chairman Mian Tariq Yaqoob & members executive committee warmly welcomed him. During the event, the President SCC&I, Khawaja Yasir Qayyum , highlighted Sargodha’s diverse range of products, including kinnow, gypsum, handicrafts, sugar, and dairy, which hold immense potential for export to international markets, especially the United Kingdom.

In his address, Mr. Khawaja Yasir Qayyum emphasized the need for better collaboration between Pakistan and the UK and praised Mr. Asim Naveed Ranjha for representing Sargodha at such a prestigious position in London and expressed hope for strengthened business ties under his guidance.

Deputy Mayor Mr. Asim Naveed Ranjha expressed his delight at learning about Sargodha’s vast industrial output, acknowledging that he previously associated the city only with kinnow. He assured the SCC&I members of his full support in facilitating Sargodha’s business community in the UK. He also addressed the importance of utilizing talents positively, stating that businesspersons from Sargodha applying through legitimate channels would find ample opportunities and respect in the UK.

The event concluded with Senior Vice President Mian Muhammad Imran expressing gratitude to the Deputy Mayor, followed by a presentation of a commemorative shield to the guest. The visit marked a significant step toward fostering stronger trade relations between Sargodha and the United Kingdom.
